Tea’s benefits are an integral part of our day-to-day experience. Pagès works to help us enjoy a few of them from the most famous plantations available as ‘plain’, scented and flavoured and help us discover this subtle, tasty and flavoursome plant known as Camellia sinensis.

Depending on the countryside where it flourishes and the region’s air humidity, this extraordinary plant conveys in herbal teas all the generosity of the country from which it hails. With naturally scented suave or spicy liquids, sometimes with a hint of refreshing tartness, the finest plantations have each their own originality in both flavour and scent. They are known in the trade as ‘gardens’… Sometimes they are carefully kept separate to preserve the subtle scents of their origins, just like a fine vintage wine.

They are also sometimes blended carefully or scented to produce captivating liquids that lie richly on the palate, just like the make-up of a great wine from the combination of leading grape varieties.
